Parking |
Those sleeping in caravans and tents will be allowed to park directly in the VVDP area. In addition to them, approximately 40 parking spaces are available. Additional parking is possible in front of Kaufland and Tesco, see attached map. |

Distances |
The route to the start will be marked from the event centre with blue-and-white ribbons. The route from the finish to the event centre will be marked with red-and-white ribbons. WARNING: On Sunday, the road to the start leads along a busy road and crosses the railway crossing twice, pay attention! |

M12, M14, M17, M20, M21E/ME, M21A, M21B/MB, M40, M50, M60, M70 W12, W14, W17, W20, W21E/WE, W21A, W21B/WB, W40, W50, W60 MW10 – possible for parents to accompany the child Open S, Open L In bold are written master classes, i.e., classes in which the title “Master of Slovak Republic in MTBO for 2024” will be awarded. At least 3 competitors must start in the class to be awarded the master’s title. In the case of a small number of registered competitors, there is a possibility of merging categories. |

Starting numbers |
Each competitor will receive a start number at the presentation. All competitors are obliged to place the number visibly on the bike before the start. It will not be possible to start without a start number. The start numbers are the same for Saturday and Sunday. Please return unused start numbers to the presentation. The MW10 and OPEN / OPEN E-bike categories also have start numbers. |

Saturday (MW10) – free start between 15:00-16.00, the route to the map start will be marked with red-and-white ribbons. The race route will not be marked. The start and finish is at the kindergarten in the Event centre. Possible for parents to accompany the child.
14.4.2024 (Sunday) At 9:30. The interval start according to the start list.
Sunday (MW10) – free start between 11:30 -12.30, the route to the map start will be marked with red-and-white ribbons. The race route will not be marked. The start and finish is at the kindergarten in the Event centre. Possible for parents to accompany the child.

The maps are processed according to the ISMTBOM 2022 map key.
Maps will be collected in the finish until the start of the last competitor.

Punching system |
SportIdent and contactless system AIR+ will be used (allows embossing to a distance of 150-200 cm). Punching will be possible only using SIAC, the controls do not have a hole. For competitors who do not own SIAC, renting is possible (SI rental: 2 € / day, in case of damage or non-return: 70 €)
The only exception is the MW10 category, where the standard controls will be used, so it will be possible to use standard SI as well.
The competitor is obliged to reset and check the SI (Clear + Check) before the start. In case of a failure of the SportIdent electronic punching system, the competitor punches the control with pliers in one of the reserve squares on the map. He/She is obliged to report this fact to the referee at the finish.
There will be no control at the finish, but a passage through the finish carpet with a timer. Please do not stay near the carpet. The children's category MW10 punches the finish control manually.
Return the borrowed SI to the organisers immediately after reading. |

Technical control |
All competitors without exception are required to wear a properly fastened helmet on their head while moving on the track. A competitor without a helmet will not be allowed to start. The minimum width of the tires is 1.5’’. |

Special map marks |
There is a strict ban on movement (by bike and on foot) outside the roads marked on the map. Exceptions are grassy strips marked with orange (map mark No.824 “Open land” and No.827-830 “Crossroads or terrain route“), where the movement is allowed.
There are forbidden areas, which are marked on the map. It is not allowed to cross them (by bike or on foot). This also applies to roads leading through these forbidden areas.

The preliminary results will be posted at the event centre. The official results will be published at the webpage https://mtbo.vba.sk/2024/ as well as in the system orienteering.sk and ORIS
There will also be online results at https://liveresultat.orientering.se/ - the exact link can be found on Facebook and in ORIS just before the race. |

Complaints |
They are submitted to the Referee in writing for a deposit of € 10 and no later than one hour after the scheduled finish. The Chief Judge will then form a three-member Jury from those present at the race and submit a protest to the hearing. The decision of the Jury is final. |

Catering |
In the centre of the race there will be a refreshment stand - Cafe mobil - which will offer coffee, tea, lemonade, soft drinks, bottled beer, hot dogs, pancakes, Belgian fries.
A wine shop will be open in the race centre on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. A beer/non-alcoholic tap will be available on Saturday from 15.00. As part of saving the environment, we kindly ask you to bring your own cups. We will have a few plastic pieces available for those who forget, but only a few. We thank you.
Nearby is also a Vietnamese restaurant Saigon (in the Kaufland shopping centre), or McDonald's and other restaurants in the Molo shopping centre (within 500m from the race centre). Restaurant Grünwald is 300m from the race centre.

Accommodation |
The organiser does not provide, except for caravans and camping in the centre of the race. It is not possible to connect to electricity for caravans. Accommodation is only possible from Saturday to Sunday. On Saturday, it is possible to accommodate yourself from the presentation's beginning, i.e. 9:30 a.m.

Warnings: Competitors accept the hazards associated with participating in the Event, and that they take part at their own risk, are responsible for their own safety, and have no claim against the Organiser in case of injury during the event, or caused by it later on.
